Livestream Guru and Technology Maven

Hello, and welcome to my personal blog. I'm Brandon Kalinowski, and I seek to bring innovative and sound technical advice to you. You'll find stories and samples of my creative video projects here. I am also obsessed with technology, and you will find technical tutorials on web development, DevOps, and cybersecurity. You may even enjoy my encryption series, or my posts on the rise of the static web. This blog also exists as a photography portfolio of sorts, with each post displaying a different photograph from my collection (except where noted).

My passion is acting as an enabler of others to share their compelling stories. Whether that story is told through a piece of filmmaking art or the design of an advanced website, I am here to help you share that story. Whether you own a business looking to connect with customers through live video, an athlete looking for a chance to be in the spotlight, or an artist looking to share your next big idea, my mission is to help you bring that story to others in the best way possible. Everyone has a story to tell.

Live Streaming

I am super obsessed with the democratization of broadcast and giving voice to creative people such as yourself through live internet streaming. I recently worked with Legion M, a game-changing entertainment company, to broadcast celebrity interviews at Sundance Film Festival to passionate movie fans.

In addition to driving innovation at Legion M, I am currently building a modern platform that helps internet broadcasters monetize live content, enabling streamers to deliver more value to consumers. I hope to use this blog to share my expertise in this field to a larger audience.

If you want to see a dramatic increase in active engagement, live streaming is the way to go. There's also a lot to navigate. I am available to freelance to guide you and answer all those technical questions. Let's chat brandonkalinowski.com/contact.

My Story

I have consulted on live video, aerial drone cinematography, database design, photography, web development, data recovery, marketing, and video editing. I thrive in fast-paced environments where quick thinking is required.

I started my creative journey in the 5th grade, where I began recording stop-motion LEGO videos. Flexible as a homeschooler, I practiced and improved my knowledge and skills toward innovative technology. Acting as the family historian, I received a Handycam for Christmas and became hooked editing movies in Final Cut. The rest, as they say, grew from there. Always behind a camera, even my eagle scout project was a television public service announcement.

I am also a fully licensed drone pilot and built some drones of my own.

I am a strong believer in remaining a lifelong learner. Video and web technology changes rapidly. I'll share what I learn here so that together we can focus on telling your story.
